Fritz! Box 4060: Up to 6 Gpbs in this WiFi 6 router oriented to bridge mode
AVM has announced its new Fritz! Box 4060 router with WiFi 6 connectivity of up to 6,000 Mbps (combined of 2,400 Mbps + 2,400 Mbps in 5 GHz and 1,200 Mbps in 2.4 GHz). As we can see on its website, this model has the latest in connectivity, with support for WiFi Mesh networks and even its own integrated DECT switchboard to connect six cordless telephones.
Includes USB 3.0 port for printers or external devices, one RJ45 Gigabit WAN, three RJ45 Gigabit LANs, and support for 4x4 MIMO connectivity. Regarding security, we have support for WPA2 and WPA3, an active firewall, support for VPN, and all the functions of the operating system Fritz! OS.
The Fritz! Box 4060 has been designed to work directly in bridge mode so that it can be connected to an already available fiber optic modem and quickly set up via its built-in wizard. The idea is to facilitate the jump to a WiFi 6 network with the entire FritzOS ecosystem in a simple way for those who have a fiber connection with the basic routers of the operators.
The AVM Fritz! Box 4060 will arrive with a 5-year warranty for a price of around 225 euros.
